The first IRTG 2079 Summerschool involved scientific questions at the heart of the IRTG: Cold collisions and interactions involving maximal quantum effects not reachable at ambient conditions. Seven international speakers gave lectures and tutorials to present basic knowledge in the field as well as developments and current trends. Beside the IRTG members 15 international students, PhD-candidates and postdocs joined the intensive event in France.
